Our Story & Values
An Historic Home with a Heart
Fewcott House is a beautifully renovated country lodge, rich in character and history dating back to 1680. Since 1985, it has provided high-quality nursing care, evolving into the welcoming home it is today.
Nestled in the peaceful village of Fewcott (also known as Ardley-with-Fewcott), just 4 miles north of Bicester in the heart of rural North Oxfordshire, Fewcott House offers a calm and tranquil setting, surrounded by stunning landscaped grounds.
Thanks to a thoughtfully designed, purpose-built extension, we are now proud to be registered for 40 residents, combining historical charm with modern comfort and care.
Mission Statement
At Fewcott House we are committed to freedom, independence, and choice. Our approach to care is truly personalised—offering one-to-one support alongside meaningful, engaging activities designed to enrich daily life. We strive to provide the highest standard of care in a well-maintained, homely setting.
Our experienced team of registered nurses is dedicated to caring for adults and the elderly with compassion, dignity, and professionalism. Many have been part of our team for years, ensuring consistent, trusted care.
This comes in addition to our continued Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and our success in remaining COVID-free throughout the pandemic—an achievement that reflects our commitment to safety, vigilance, and care.
We invite you to discover the Fewcott House difference—where warmth, quality, and a personal touch make all the difference.
